Lava yoga at SG ( lady only hot yoga from Japan)

Image
Hellooo yogi and yogini.. Today I'd like to share a hot yoga experience at Lava unfortunately this studio is a lady only, the studio is located at Great world city shopping mall, you can take MRT station which is just established. Personally I do not fancy hot yoga, just feel like it is not hygienic and you share hot steam breath and hot sticky sweat together... all no no no.. but this year I decided to try all different yoga studies. The studio is clean and neat ,they give you 2 towels (one for face and one for body)  but one studio with 22 students, when I went to "Nature" class for a trial without booking sadly it was fully booked but they let me tried it out.  www.lava-yoga-global.com The studio  has a big mirror wall and led light to change colour of light according to music and asanas ( like green, orange, blue etc) but no windows,  no shower, changing room only, to compare to other hot yoga, there is not much smell of sweat ( they said they did spec...

Dive into Breathe and Flow ( On line yoga class 2)

Image
Hello, Today I'd like to introduce Breathe and flow to you, if you are young and energetic you'll love  their Youtube class if you are not very young and not so energetic like me, you still love Breathe and flow, there are two yoga instructors bre and flo, they are lovely young couples, recently have a new born baby. https://www.breatheandflow.org https://www.youtube.com/c/BreatheandFlow/videos Why do I love Breathe and Flow? The class more focuses on core exercise, they do a lot of plank, half plank and abnormal exercise, if you think that yoga is all about stretch and flexibility then you are so wrong..flexibility is a half part of yoga asana but you really need a core muscle to stretch further such as hand stand, mayurasna, ahda chandra, etc . I started to practice with them because my core is not strong enough to do hand stand and other arm balance, if you are looking for build up core strength then Breathe and flow is good to start with. Plus they also offer yinyoga, pla...

Hom yoga experience at River Valley Point (2nd branch of Hom)/ Yin and Yang yoga

Image
Hello, I hope everyone is having an energetic day with a bit of yoga practice .. if you haven't done yet then pls follow me.. expand the rib sideways inhale through nose slowly 1,2,3,4, and ribs in and belly in to exhale much more slower than inhale 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8..... for a few times.. you see you've  already done pranayama! Today morning I went to the second branch of Hom yoga at River Vally point in Singapore, I like Hom yoga at Orchard but I think Hom yoga at River valley point seems more welcoming and spacious, similar layout white walls and clean design. This store seems sell more things including yoga accessories. I found that the shop is a bit pricey and not sure whether practitioners are interested or not, at least it helps to create more clean and luxury feeling. website:https://homyoga.com/ Price : drop in class is 38-49 $ (I've got new year promotion 99 $ for 4 visits) it seems like they do have a few promotions to get a bit cheaper, generally the price is one ...

IYENGARYOGA CENTER OF CENTRAL SINGAPORE experience

Image
Hellooo... l love BKS Iyenga so much not BTS :) I read BKS light on life a few times it was inspiring and teach you what really yoga should be and guide you how to live lightly but fully. I took a few BKS style yoga and I liked it, usually do with less asanas but properly with well explanation, I'd like to say that quality over quantity yoga if you are lucky to have a good Iyenga teacher, you feel more connect with your body and breath.  There are a few Iyenga yoga in Singapore and I've decided to try Iyengayog center , I've told from the studio that Trisno (main teacher in here) is holding the highest level certification in Sg. Today I attended 930 am morning class L1 (intermediate level) , 75 mins class.  Price : They do not have a monthly membership , drop in 45 sing dollars, or you can buy it credit from 300 dollars (more you visit more you get discount, i.e. if you visit 2 time a week then you get 15% discount so on) personally I found it quite pricy, given that there ...
