Tirisula yoga at Paya Leba in Singapore

Tirisula yoga claims that they are one of the oldest yoga studio in SG , I was so curious what it would look like.. they have 3 brunches  Website :https://tirisulayoga.com Price : drop in $ 42 and you can buy 10 ($230) packages to 50 ($935) Location **** * : walk 5mins from Paya Leba station and street parking is available  Ambience ** *** : there is no receptionist, straight to class room to pass to another classroom, and no cabinet to put bags . Studio * ****: it was very old and tired and I can see some mold on the wall and corners, hygiene level is so low, I really did not want to go back again. Bathroom and Shower ** *** : there are only toilets but no shower and clean, all the greens around basin are artificial.  Class *** ** Hatha 1 at 11:15 (60mins) with S*** N***  he was attentive and adjusted practitioners well good for beginners.

Union yoga Ayurveda at Beauty world in SG

Union yoga Ayurveda has 4 brunches , the one I went to is in Beauty world Website: https://www.unionyogaayurveda.com.sg/ Price :individual class is purchased by class pass only, they more focus on teacher training course  Location *** ** : walk 10-15 mins from the station and not near to shopping mall, street parking is available  Ambience ** ***: feel like an office rather than a studio Studio * **** : studio was really small and not organised, they also have one in down stairs which I had a look but looks very similar as one I practiced   Bathroom / Shower * **** they have one toilet no bathroom. Class *** ** Morning yoga flow at 9:05 (60 mins) with V*** he was attentive and patient, good for beginner . 

Freedom yoga at Holland village in SG

Freedom yoga has two branches, I went to one in Holland village and the other one is River valley  Website : https://www.freedomyoga.sg Price :drop in $35 and they have a lot of option for buy packs or monthly ( $250~) Location **** * : 5 mins walk from Holland Mrt  however parking spaces are limited  Ambience *** **: 2nd floor ,Clean no resting area and receptionist and yoga teacher were not inviting students from the desk  Studio *** **: Clean and nice and plus put a candle on the floor which was I found quite relaxing however the room was small (max 18), they wouldn't let me to use another yoga mat to put it cross to protect my knee. they claimed that they may worried other students would copy it ? I don't get the explanation, too strict about allocated things and I could not breathe  Bathroom and Shower   ** ***: they have unisex to share toilet and shower and locker room .I wouldn't feel comfortable to take a shower there Class **** *: Power yo...

Yogabar in Orchard / Far East shopping centre

Yoga bar is located in Far East shopping centre. website:http s://yogabar.sg Price : Single for $30 and monthly from $200 upward  Location **** * : 5 mins from Orchard Mrt station Ambience ** *** : one yoga studio room and you can see a bit of admin work desk, it was not really welcoming vibe Studio ** ***: Small (Maximum 10) and was not very clean no mirror but has a big window . Bathroom and Shower: none , you can use shopping centre bathroom  Class ***** * Ashtanga basic with B**** C*** at 9.30 am / he was attentive and well adjust students it was a good class especially who wants to learn Ashtanga .

Jyan yoga in SG

Jyan yoga is located in restaurant street at Prinsep street. website:https://www.jyanyoga.com/ Location ** ***: not near to MRT station and even street parking was quite small Ambience **** *: the studio is on 2nd floor, it was white and welcoming vibes    Studio **** * : They have 2 studios , clean and airy but lay out of mats are not ideal , studio was long and narrow so teacher stays in the middle of the studio and practitioners towards to her Toilet and Bathroom *** ** : they have 2 toilets and clean and has a small shower attached in the toilet bring your own towels   Class ** *** flow with K*** at 9.30am : her cue was not very accurate and even sun salutation was not correct and not much engage with students.

Platinum yoga at Ang Mo Kio in SG

Platinum  yoga has  5 brunches , I went to one in Ang Mo Kio in AMK hub. website /https://platinumyoga.com/ Price : no specifically mention on the website  Location ***** : It is located right next to Ang Mo kio Mrt station which is connected to AMK HUB shopping centre Ambience **** *: the receptionist in the front and small seating area but it has very awkward shoe case you can hardly feet a shoe in Studio **** *: it has one big studio may takes around 50 students and has a big mirror, changeable light and a cabinet is inside, clean and nice Bathroom and shower : none Class *** ** 9.30am (60mins) plates : I went to a plates class to find out what was like to offer plates class at a yoga studio, surprisingly it was kind of pack with students and very challenging and repetitive class , students seemed to enjoy a lot, for me it was more like yoga with using tools such as dumbbell, wheel etc

Iyengar yoga (Riana yoga) at Balmoral plaza in Singapore

  Iyengar yoga studio is in Balmoral plaza in Bukit Timah, it is a small studio (maybe maximum 10 practitioners). https://www.iyengaryoga.sg/ Price : Single drop in for 45$ and you can also buy 10 pass for 360 $ , I guess it is a bit pricey given that there is any facilities provide for you, no towels, no water, no socialising place Ambience ** *** there is small entry , I think only 1or 2 people would fit at the entrance , it was not really clean there are a few plants in the studio it was really nice features, feels alive and organic  Studio room ** *** plants and nice windows lift up the mood, they have all props for Iyengar yoga however they are not all in the same location, mats and blocks at the entrance and other props are in the studio and I found the room wasn't very clean and vinyl flooring was not attractive and my mat was so smelly I had to put another mat on the top of it to hide the smell.  Bathroom : use the shopping centre one Changing room : None Shower ...
